OUR TEAM

Dr. Marcus Ressler
Dr. Ressler grew up in Tampa, Florida and knew he wanted to be a veterinarian at an early age. He began volunteering at animal clinics in high school, continued his studies at Ursinus College, and later completed veterinary school at Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. While in school Dr. Ressler received many accolades, including the senior student surgery award from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, awarded to students demonstrating exceptional surgical aptitude.
After graduating from Tuskegee Dr. Ressler began his career working on performance and race horses up and down the East Coast before transitioning back to small animal medicine. Since then he has worked in general practices, emergency clinics, and specialty/referral hospitals, and has spent the past 12 years learning and utilizing as many skills as possible to help clients and their animals.
Dr. Ressler has a wide range of interests including surgery, internal medicine, mobility and arthritis, ultrasound, allergies, and nutrition. He is excited to bring his experience and skills to Bradley Hills Animal Hospital and work with clients to develop personalized plans for each patient.
Dr. Ressler is honored to continue Dr. Weiss’ practice and is dedicated to carrying on the tradition of state-of-the-art medicine and compassionate care that clients and patients have come to expect from Bradley Hills Animal Hospital.

Doctor Emeritus
Bradley Hills Animal Hospital opened its doors in March of 2001 with owner, Doctor Emeritus Charles Weiss, a 1990 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine, serving as its primary veterinarian. Doctor Emeritus Weiss grew up in Long Island, NY, where he began his veterinary medicine career at 14 years old as a Kennel Assistant at South Shore Animal Hospital. He specialized in the treatment of dogs and cats, and Doctor Emeritus Weiss became well-known in the area for his expertise in laser surgical techniques.
Doctor Emeritus Weiss was committed to practicing state-of-the-art medicine, yet he believed listening to client concerns and treating each patient with gentle compassion were the keys to practicing the highest-quality veterinary medicine.
Although Doctor Emeritus Weiss has retired from practicing veterinary medicine, his legacy of compassionate care and dedication to excellence continues to be a guiding part of Bradley Hills Animal Hospital.
