This image is from a patient who has colitis. This was taken during a lower gastrointestinal endoscopy.	This image demonstrates a gastrointestinal polyp. Endoscopy is an excellent, minimally invasive diagnostic tool.
This patient has inflammatory bowel disease. Conditions such as this are best detected by endoscopy, which allows us to directly examine the gastrointestinal tract, using minimally invasive means.
